Caroline received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She is a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). Caroline has received extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has experience facilitating intensive outpatient groups for clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health diagnoses. Caroline received training in eating disorder assessments at the Minnesota Center for Eating Disorders Research and is an advocate for eating disorder prevention, research, and access to treatment. She utilizes a client-centered approach, along with DBT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in creating healthier and happier lives.
Tawny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has worked in the human services field for 22 years. Tawny has experience working with a diverse range of individuals across various demographics of socioeconomic status, age, ethnicity, gender, and ability. Tawny’s clinical interests include anxiety disorders, depression, eating and body image issues, substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma/abuse, and relationship issues. Tawny uses an integrative approach to treatment that is influenced by a variety of therapeutic principles and perspectives including Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral, Person-Centered, Strength-Based, Solution-Focused, and Interpersonal theories. Tawny employs elements from a range of therapeutic techniques with the goal of creating a treatment program that meets the specific needs of each individual.
Krystal earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological Science and Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Krystal has worked with a variety of clients during her time in the mental health field, including children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, has worked in a variety of settings, and has extensive experience providing psychosocial assessments and diagnosis. Krystal uses an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational enhancement as her primary focuses. She believes in meeting her clients where they are in the therapeutic process, allowing for a safe, relaxed environment in which clients can be challenged to take steps to meet their goals, embrace change, and have a life they desire.
Tamara help clients initiate engagement in services by explaining services offered and conducting pre-registration tasks, greets clients upon arrival in the facility offering a warm and welcoming environment.
Ellen received her bachlelor’s degree from Purdue University and her master’s degree from Indiana State University. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches. Ellen believes in using an evidenced based approach while utilizing a mindfulness-based perspective when working with clients.
Ellen realizes that eating patterns and habits are individualized. She understands that the key to true health and wellness can be achieved by rejecting the diet culture and messaging that surrounds us every day and focusing on what works best for our own personal health. She approaches nutrition from an integrative, functional perspective and uses nutrition to unlock the client’s potential to develop a healthy relationship with food and their body.
Summer is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She received her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University, and went on to complete her dietetic internship at the same establishment.
Summer hails from Kentucky where she previously worked with collegiate students with eating disorders. She aims to balance science and education as she guides each client through their eating disorder recovery. Summer appreciates everyone’s uniqueness; therefore, she provides an individual structure to each client’s treatment process. Summer has a professional passion for working with clients to help them heal their relationship with food and rebuild a positive body image.
Anna coordinates and maintains connections in the community, advocates for clients regarding insurance reimbursement and payments, maintains a physically safe and comfortable environment.
