Intensive Outpatient Program
Our licensed mental health clinicians and registered dietitians come together to provide a structured, group-based program for those in need of extra support to manage symptoms or those stepping down from residential and/or Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) treatment. In the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) we continue a client-centered approach but place more emphasis on skills building and exposures.
Treatment involves 9 hours per week of group therapy with length of treatment ranging from 5-12 weeks. Our program is unique in that we provide support with a co-facilitated approach by a therapist and registered dietitian trained in eating disorder recovery.
Treatment length is based on clinical need of each individual client. It is always our goal to keep clients in the lowest level of care possible; therefore, we evaluate progress weekly and change course of treatment based on clinical needs. Our intake coordinator and clinicians would be happy to answer any questions you may have about our programs.
The program structure includes the following:
Trauma-informed Gentle and Joyful Movement
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Mindfulness
Distress Tolerance
Open Process
Psycho-education
